Business Card for: Dept of Energy
Our design firms business ‘cords’. We specialize in unexpected ideas, mainly within the outdoor markets. We needed a card that both represented our brands sense of energy and disruptive thinking, as well as visually make an impact in a market where only the truly unique are remembered.

Why would anyone do anything else but throw it away? It doesn’t fit in a business card notebook or folder (eg. Resources, Utilities)
not even a golf pencil.
emm.. and what should I do with such business card? o_O
I actually like this idea and execution. It stands out, not functionally, but who cares? 99% of the people add bizz cards to their electronic address files and then toss the card away anyway. This card – even when tossed away – will be remembered though.
The funny thing is that I would expect a bit more adventurous portfolio work on their site and this didn’t really live up to the expectation their card gives…
I think it is an unusual idea and kind cool but, I could see people throwing it away not knowing what to do with it.
