Business Card for: Hairdresser

When asked to create a memorable identity card for a hair salon, we
thought what is the thing you get done at this hair salon, why do you
come, or why would you recommend it to someone. It is their
proficiency with scissors and hair, so we tried to reflect both on the
card and make them entertaining enough for the kids to play with them
and small scissors while being bored, waiting for their mom to get a
new haircut.

So we created these little monsters. They were inspired by the old
fashioned neighbourhood advertising model, where you print out your
phone number at the bottom of an A4 paper sheet, with your message on
top and your phone number at the bottom, so you can take a chunk of
paper with the number home with you.

In short, we made something that has a strong link to the business we
were representing, as you can do your hair on the card itself,
something that has entertainment value and pacifies the kids in the
salon and something not too expensive for a small business to produce.

Brilliant… what more can I say? Combines the company with a fun and memorable identity. They are collectors items in themselves. I’d love seeing how many designs can be made.
