Business Card for: Michael Kenyon

The business card was for my dad who is a general contractor.

The inspiration for this design came from the texture of wood. Since he is a contractor and works with wood we thought to do a letterpress card that looked and felt like a piece of wood.

It was printed in San Diego, CA at In To Ink Press

Since it was being letterpressed we wanted a stock that would visually look a bit like wood so we chose chipboard. The pressman played with a bunch of different inks and specialty liquids like chocolate and beet juice for color but in the end we stuck with just simple ink.
