Business Card for: Moody & Farrell

http://www.lindsaylewisdesign.com/

This business card was designed for Moody & Farrell - a bespoke hat makers brand based in London. Their style mixes strong traditional craft and heritage influences with a modern, innovative approach and the business cards were inspired by this philosohpy. The design for the logo is based on a traditional crest, or coat of arms, but uses unexpected animals (a crow and a stoat) and hat motifs. To contrast against the elaborate mark the font used is Gotham.

The card was printed by Phil Chrisp printers in Manchester, UK using a traditional Heidelberg letterpress machine. The card is letterpressed both sides with antique gold ink onto duplexed 540gsm colourplan from GF Smith. The card also has die cut round edges.

1000 were produced. The cost was very low (mainly for the paper) as the printer is a friend of mine!
