Business Card for: Pinned

Director Pat Norman asked Go Media to develop a unique brand identity for his documentary film “Pinned” that would generate a lot of buzz. Designer Jeff Finley started by designing the poster off the powerful photograph by Jim Votava. But this was not enough to get people talking. Go Media took it one step further by hand-stapling a tiny, die-cut paper wrestler into folding business cards, giving each card a unique, hand-crafted appeal unlike any other film. “Pinned” was a huge success and premiered to over 200 people at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in 2010

After using some stapled paper textures to help with the interior of the card’s design – I needed something to put on the “other side” of the card. I wanted to think of something crafty and outside-the-box that would be unique and make people smile. I thought about how I could use a real staple in the design and it went from there.
