Business Card for: Sean Gerety
I’m a big fan of Moleskine notebooks and have been for a while. I also do quite a bit of sketching for work, so I wanted something to mirror those passions. I sketched out the design here: www.flickr.com/photos/ideakitchn/4427433409/ and then my good friend Dennis Estanislao (aka @fwdanimation) did the comp. I took it to a local print shop because I wanted to have the edges cut to make it look like a Moleskine. They are cut just slightly on the left side and more on the right to mimic the look of a book. The front of the card is glossy and the back of the card is flat so that you can draw, sketch or write on the card.
The card is on heavy stock, because if you’re writing on a card you want it to have some structure. Originally, I only had one side trimmed and the printer recommended the smaller cut on the left, which turned out great.
