Business Card for: Steph Rymer
Bored of the traditional, cluttered format, I wanted to create something uniquely simple that would stand out from the others. My initial idea was to print only ‘email@example.com’ – the minimum amount of info required to deduce my name, email and website. I then decided a job title could also be useful so added this as annotation.
I’ve always liked the idea of semitransparent cards, and wanted to relate the CSS3 value “rgba(255,255,255,0.5)” to this.
I got the cards printed in Shanghai, and some miscommunication meant I ended up with ’semitransparent card’ rather than ’semitransparent plastic’, but I was still happy with the result. They cost 60RMB (~9USD) for 200 cards.
