Business Card for: Steve Wozniak

Great business card designed for Steve Wozniak (co-founder of Apple Computers).

Steve Wozniak:
My card is made of stainless steel with creative design and laser etching. It is custom made, including the designs, both etched and printed. It is not a stock card that you can print your own info on.

My very creative friend Al Luckow made a card for another friend of mine that was shinier than normal, for a paper card. I expressed interest in having a personal card to that quality. Al notified me that they also made cards from frosty-to-transparent plastic, and from metal.

I like unusual things so I asked Al (or he asked me) to design ones in plastic and metal. Al came up with designs that I liked and I ordered a great quantity of the less expensive plastic cards, and fewer of the rather expensive metal ones.

The metal cards were the big hit from day one, so I have continued to order them, unchanged, for some time now.

Al Luckow:
I had the cards manufactured at Plasma Design in the UK.

However, some of Woz’ cards have a blue enamel on them. That part is hand done, and I had to talk them into it. They are all Mac heads over there so they said they would do it for Woz. But if you try to get color in a metal card order, they will probably tell you they don’t offer it.

This is awesome!! I’ve been looking for the right cardstock for years to emulate a brushed metal finish without the cost of actual metal.

I would love to see the plastic version of this, plus more info on printing costs??

Trust Me my friends. This card is not plastic. Steve or “The Woz” as he loves to be called, gave me one of these cards in New York on April 2nd 2009, after I bought him a hot dog.

Very cool cards, and very sharp. I cut my finger pulling it out of my wallet.
